Travel The World

Wow! I haven't had a lot of time to post lately. Still, putting the house together although most of the furniture is in place. I've also been going out with friends a lot lately. Finally, work has been especially busy as I've been training in a new department. Hope to have more free time in the future.

Well, I just spent my first week in the house and am very comfortable now. It's been a lot of work and I still have a long way to go to fix it up properly. However, I'm enjoying this and the fact that my money is going into the house and not to some landlord.

Well, I spent the first night in my new home last night. That was a pleasant surprise because I didn't expect the bed to be delivered until next week. It's hard getting used to my new surroundings but I'm sure it will feel like home before I know it.

Gosh! Will I ever stop spending money? Today, I bought a new TV (LCD HDTV 37") and a stand to go with it. I will try to assemble everything tomorrow. I have a feeling getting this house ready is going to be a longterm project. Is it just me or does this happen to everyone?

Today, I bought new furniture for my home. I can't believe how much money I spent, but I'm very happy with the furniture I ended up with. I'm especially happy with the Italian-style desk and book shelf for my home office. Of coure, I won't be able to eat for the next month.
