I love pastel colors too, Russ. Everything is so grey here (LOL), well not everything, but most of the buildings are grey here. I agree with you, a photo can't convey the effect on the eyes of some colors. However, I think that's a beautiful photo.
These pictures were snapped in November, 2007 in Djibouti (East Africa). More specifically, they were taken in and near Arta, a small town on the coast. The first picture shows me posing on a hillside and the next one shows my coworker, Sa'ad. The final one shows me being attacked by some fierce beasts but, don't worry! I survived.

ReplyDeleteAnd, everything was so clean even though it is reputedly the poorest part of the country.
ReplyDeleteI like this type of architecture. It reminds me of Brasov.A city in Romania with the same austro-germanic type of architecture. It is just beautifull...
ReplyDeleteHey, Marius!
ReplyDeleteI love the architecture in Europe especially, Eastern Europe because it still reflects the old world style.
Yeah, the same here in Shumen. The pastel colored architecture is so refreshing to look at. It almost makes you feel like you're in a fairy tale!

Lisa,
ReplyDeleteIt really is a fairy tale but you will get other opportunities to live it just like I have.
