Nagoya, Japan

For those of you who have never been to Japan, you may not think these pictures very exotic.  They were taken from my balcony and show a neighborhood called 'Kurokawa' in Nagoya.  It was very convenient for me to live there as the subway was just across the street from my apartment building.  I also loved walking these streets in the evenings.  I lived in Japan from March through August '07.

    Thank you for writing up the story of Nagoya. Even now Nagoya grows and profits under various foods and amusement places. I wish you would visit Japan again.

These pictures were snapped in November, 2007 in Djibouti (East Africa).  More specifically, they were taken in and near Arta, a small town on the coast.  The first picture shows me posing on a hillside and the next one shows my coworker, Sa'ad.  The final one shows me being attacked by some fierce beasts but, don't worry!  I survived.
