Los Guajes2

I was driving east from Guadalajara with the intent of ending up in La Piedad, the largest town in that part of Michoacan state.  I had never been there but thought it would be a good place to spend the night before continuing on my journey the next day.  Anyway, when I was about 15 miles away from my destination, I saw this secondary road that led to a small village on a hill in the distance.  I don't know what inspired me to choose this particular village to stop at but there was just something about it that lured me in.  So, I made a left turn and entered the road in the picture above.  After a few kilometers, I eventually arrived in Los Guajes which will be the subject of several upcoming posts.
