Memories of Afghanistan

Everyone by now is aware of recent events in Afghanistan.  I have a personal connection to the country having worked there in '08 and having continued to work with many Afghan military members since that time.  From my experiences, I have to say that the Afghans are a noble people and deserve far better than fate has delivered.  I pray for them and hope they can somehow overcome this latest setback.
