Neanderthal Genome
This has been all over the press the last few days but I think the 'Time' article below goes into more depth than the others. It's a very interesting read.

If it IS true that most Europeans (in origin) have 1-4 percent of Neanderthal genes in our genome today, then I am truly happy. I am happy because it means I can impose political correctness on others as most Americans do today. For example, we can have a 'Neanderthal day' and scream bloody murder when all our other coworkers wear 'Homo Sapien' t-shirts. To heck with freedom of speech, I'm truly offended!!!
